Vibrating alert
Sets the phone (when provided with
a special battery) to vibrate when a
voice call comes in. The vibrator
does not work when the phone is
connected to a charger or handsfree
car kit.
Scroll with or to On or Off
and press OK.
Message alert tone
Sets the ringing tone for text mes-
sages. Scroll with or to the
desired tone (a sample is sounded)
and press OK.
Keypad tones
Sets the volume level for keypad
tones. Scroll with or to the
desired level (a sample is sounded)
and press OK.
Warning and game tones
Sets the phone to sound tones, e.g.
when the battery is running out of
power or when you play one of the
games in the phone. This setting has
no effect on the tones related to
network services.
Scroll with or to On or Off
and press OK.
Automatic answer (in Car and
Headset profiles only)
Sets the phone to answer an incom-
ing voice call after one ring. This
function can be used when the car
kit is equipped with ignition sense
and ignition is switched on. Scroll to
On or Off and press OK.
Lights (in Car profile only)
Sets the display and keypad lights.
Scroll with or to On (always
on) or Automatic (on for 15 sec-
onds after key press or incoming call
alert) and press OK.

OTE: While in Phone book or the
menu functions, you can switch on
the lights for 15 seconds by pressing
quickly even if “Automatic” is se-
lected.
Rename
Allows you to edit the name of the
selected profile. Key in the new name
and press OK.

OTE: This function is not available in
the General, Headset, and Car profiles.

To enter this menu:
Press Menu, scroll with or to Set-
tings, and press Select.
Alarm clock (Menu 4-1)
The phone can be set to alarm at a speci-
fied time. For setting the time format, see
Clock (Menu 4-2).
