press Select.
Language
Sets the language for the messages.
Only messages in the selected lan-
guage are shown. Scroll to a language
and press Mark to select or Unmark
to deselect it. Repeat this as many
times as needed. Next, press Back and
then Yes to save or No to ignore the
changes.
Fax or data call (Menu 1-6)
The phone can send and receive data
through the Nokia Cellular Data Suite PC
application (network service).
For more details, refer to the documenta-
tion supplied with your Nokia Cellular
Data Suite and communications applica-
tions.
Making a data or fax call
1Once in the Messages menu, scroll
with or to Fax or data
call and press Select.
2Select Fax and data or Also
voice and press Select. Also
voice allows you to switch from
voice mode to data (or fax) mode
during a call.
3Key in the desired phone number or re-
call it from Phone book, and press OK.
4If you selected Also voice in step 2,
to switch from voice to data/fax mode
(or vice versa) during the call:
Press Options, select Voice mode
or Data mode (or Fax mode), and
press OK.
5After the transmission, end the call by
pressing .
NOTE: You cannot make a data or fax call
while you have active or held calls in
progress.
Receiving a data or fax call
You can answer a data or fax call in the
normal way, even when the phone keypad
is locked.
Service command editor
(Menu 1-7)
From this submenu you can send service
requests, e.g. activation commands of
network services, to your service provider.
1Once in the Messages menu, scroll
with or to Service command
editor and press Select.
2Key in the numbers that you want to
include in the message.
Press for a hash (#) and for an
asterisk (*). When pressed and held,
switches between numbers and
letters.
3Press Send to send the message
