5. Phone Book Functions
You can store phone numbers and their
associated names in the memory of the
phone (internal Phone book) or the SIM
card (SIM Phone book).
The internal Phone book can store 50
names (of up to 16 characters each) and
phone numbers (of up to 30 digits each) at
a time.
The phone supports SIM cards which can
store up to 250 names and phone num-
bers.
In addition to storing names and phone
numbers, Phone book also offers a wide
range of functions for managing them.
Entering Phone book
You can access the stored names and
phone numbers as well as the Phone book
functions in the following ways:
When the display is clear: Press
Names.
During a call: Press Options,
scroll with or to Names, and
press Select.
Exiting from Phone book
To exit from Phone book while at its main
level, press Exit.
To quit a Phone book function, press
Back.
To exit from Phone book any time (except
during a call), press .

OTE: Pressing during a call ends the
active call.
Keying in a Name
When you are asked for a name in Phone
book’s “Add entry” function or in any other
function:
1Key in the name. Do as follows:
Press the key labelled with the char-
acter you want: once for the first
character, twice for the second and
so on.
The available characters are listed
below.
If the next letter is located on the
same key as the present one, press
