• The SIM card and its contacts can be easily damaged by
scratching or bending, so be careful when handling,
inserting, or removing the card.
• Before removing the back cover, always switch off the
power, and disconnect the charger and any other
enhancements from the smartphone. Always store and
use the smartphone with the back cover attached.
1 To remove the back cover, with the back of the
smartphone facing you, press the back cover release
button and lift off the back cover (See fig. 4).

2 If the battery is installed in the smartphone, lift the
battery out of the smartphone. (See fig 5).
Always switch the smartphone off, and disconnect the
charger before removing the battery.

3 Open the SIM card slot latch (See fig. 6) and slide the
SIM card sideways into the SIM card slot (See fig. 7).
Make sure that the bevelled corner of the SIM card is
pointing inwards into the slot and that the golden
contact area on the card is facing downwards.
