Sprint Service
2. Compose your reply or use the preset messages
or icons.
To type a message, use your keypad to enter your
message. Use the right softkey to select an input
mode. (See “Entering Text in Portrait Mode” on
page 31 or See “Entering Text in Landscape
Mode” on page 35.)
To use a preset message, press the right softkey,
press
OPTIONS > Add Preset Message, highlight a
message and press .
To use a Smiley or Symbol, press the right softkey,
press
OPTIONS > Text Mode > Smiley’s or
Symbols, highlight a selection and press .
You may select additional messaging options by
pressing
OPTIONS (right softkey) > Mark as Urgent
or
Set Callback #.
3. Review your reply and press SEND (left softkey) to
deliver your message.
Preset Messages
Preset messages make it easy to compose text
messages.
To add or edit preset messages:
1. Highlight and press > Messages >
Settings > Preset Messages > OPTIONS (right
softkey)
> Add New.
– or –
Highlight a preset message and press
EDIT (left
softkey).
Highlight a preset message and press
OPTIONS
(right softkey)> Delete.
2. Enter your new message or changes and
press . (See “Entering Text in Portrait Mode” on
page 31 or See “Entering Text in Landscape
Mode” on page 35.)
Caller ID
Caller ID allows people to identify a caller before
answering the phone by displaying the number of the
incoming call. If you do not want your number
displayed when you make a call, follow these steps.
