Select EDIT (left softkey) to edit the message (see
“Entering Text in Portrait Mode” on page 31 or see
“Entering Text in Landscape Mode” on page 35),
and press .
3. To delete a single message, highlight it and press
OPTIONS (right softkey) > Delete.
– or –
To delete all current preset messages, select
OPTIONS (right softkey) > Delete All to delete the
messages. (Select
CLOSE (right softkey) to cancel
the deletion.)
To add a new preset message:
1. Highlight and press > Messages >
Settings > Preset Messages. (You will see the list of
preset messages.)
2. To add a new message, select OPTIONS (right
softkey)
> Add New.
3. Enter your message and press . (Your new
message will be added to the beginning of the list.)
Other Text Message Settings
These settings allow you to configure the options
associated with a text message sent from your phone.
These options include:
Callback Number - allows you to set the callback
number for the recipient to view when receiving a
text message.
To activate a callback number:
4. Highlight and press > Messages >
Settings > Callback Number.
5. Select None, <your phone number>, or Other.
Airplane Mode
Airplane Mode allows you to use many of your phone’s
features, such as Games, Notepad, and Voice Memos,
when you are in an airplane or in any other area where
making or receiving calls or data is prohibited. When
you set your phone to Airplane Mode, it cannot send or
receive any calls or access online information.
