1. In the BlackBerry Manager, in the left pane, click a BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
2. In the Users list, click a user.
3. In the lower pane, confirm the BlackBerry Device Software version.
Symptom Possible solution
When users click the link to the BlackBerry Application
Loader in the upgrade instructions, the upgrade does not
start.
1. Connect a BlackBerry device to a computer on which the BlackBerry
Manager is installed.
2. At the command prompt, type \\<shared network drive >\Research In
Motion\Apploader\loader.exe.
3. If the BlackBerry Application Loader starts, the tool is shared successfully.
