Section 9: Settings
This section explains the settings used for customizing your
device. If settings are described in another section of this
user manual, then a cross reference to that description is
provided.
Accessing Settings
From a Home screen, touch Apps Settings.
– or –
From a Home screen, touch
Menu Settings.
– or –
From any screen, touch the top of the screen and
swipe downward, to display the Notification Panel, and
then touch Settings.
The Settings screen displays.
Settings Tabs
The Settings are divided into four main groups. When the
Settings screen displays, the following four tabs are located
at the top of the screen:
Connections: Touch this tab to see all settings
related to the connection of your device to external
sources, such as, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Nearby
devices.
My device: Touch this tab to access device
configuration and customization features, such
as, Lock screen, Display, Sound, Power saving
mode, and Accessibility.
Accounts: Touch this tab for both the ability to
create and modify your accounts (such as,
Samsung account, Email, and Google account)
and access Backup and reset features.
More: Touch this tab to access the remaining set
of device settings not listed under the other three
tabs, such as, Location services, Security,
Application manager, and About device.
