Messages
AT&T Messages brings your texts, calls, and voicemail
messages together into a single conversation thread and is
accessible by phone or computer.
1. From a Home screen, touch Apps
➔
Messages.
2. Sign in to your Google account, if you are not already
signed in. For more information, refer to “Setting Up
Your Gmail Account” on page 82.
Note: The first time you use the Messages app, touch
Update AT&T Messages to download the updated
application from the Play Store. When the Play Store
page displays, touch UPDATE ➔ ACCEPT ➔ OPEN. For
more information, refer to “Play Store” on page 135.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to use the
Messages app.
ChatON
Provides a global mobile communication service where you
can chat with more than two buddies in a group chat. Share
things such as photos, videos, animation messages
(Scribbles), audio, Contacts, Calendar entries, and Location
information.
Note: This app requires a Samsung account.
1. Sign in to your Google account. For more information,
refer to “Setting Up Your Gmail Account” on page 82.
2. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ ChatON.
3. Touch Menu ➔ Settings to configure your ChatON
preferences.
4. Touch Menu ➔ Support ➔ Help to display
additional help information.
