Answering a Call
When you receive an incoming call, press the key to answer the call, or press
the right soft key Ignore to send the call to voicemail, or press the left soft key
Quiet to silence the ringer.
Note: To change the answer options, see “Answer Options” on page 102.
Answering Call-Waiting Calls
• When you receive a call while on a call, you can press and answer the new
call or let the new call go to your voicemail.
• If you choose and answer the incoming call, the original caller is placed on
call hold. Press the Send key to toggle between the two callers.
The Call In-Progress Option
Access numerous menus and features even while on a call.
Note: If the call is disconnected while accessing the Call In-Progress Option, the Options screen disappears
from the display and the phone eventually returns to the main screen.
1. While in a call, press the right soft key Options. The following menu
items appear in the display.
• Messaging: Display the Messaging menu.
• Contact List: Open the Contact list to view your contacts.
• Recent Calls: Display your recent incoming, missed and outgoing calls.
• Bluetooth Menu: Display the Bluetooth menu.
• Main Menu: Display the main menu.
• Notepad: Open the Notepad.
• Voice Record: Record the conversation as a voice memo in My Sounds.
Note: Recording a call may require consent from the person being recorded. User should determine
applicable law(s) and take appropriate steps to comply.
• Whisper Mode: Increase the microphone to the maximum volume level.
Note: During a call turn on Whisper Mode when speaking softly or when the caller cannot hear your voice
clearly. This mode is useful in meetings or public places.
2. Use the navigation key to highlight a menu. Press to open the
highlighted menu or to active the feature.
