Setting up a GPRS connection
GPRS is a packet-based wireless communication
service which enables data to be sent and received
using mobile phones.
You can use GPRS to connect to the Internet or to

billed based on the data traffic volume. However,
you should check billing information with your
service provider.
To set up a GPRS connection manually:
1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings.
2. Tap the Connections tab.
3. Tap Connections.
4. On the Tasks tab, tap Add a new modem
connection for the required group.
5. Enter a name for the connection.
6. In the Select a modem: field, select Cellular
Line (GPRS).
7. Tap Next.
8. Enter the GPRS APN for your service provider,
then tap Next.
9. Enter details for the following fields if they are
required by your service provider:
User name: - your user name for the network.
Password: - your password.

10. If you need to specify extra settings, tap the
Advanced... button and enter the following
information:

assigned IP address radio button to
automatically configure the IP address.
Otherwise, tap the Use specific IP address

your GPRS settings using Auto
