9. If required, add more numbers, then tap Done.
10. Enter PIN2, then tap Done. The settings are
sent to the network.
Network settings
You can select whether your Toshiba phone will
automatically search and select a network to
connect to, or whether you will be prompted to select
one manually.
You can set up and update a list of Preferred
networks that your phone will attempt to connect to
if your current network becomes unavailable. This
setting will also apply if you roam out of the service
area of your current network.
You can also search for new networks and select a
network to connect to.
For details of setting the network mode, refer to
Network Mode in Connectivity.
Setting the network selection type
To set the network selection type:
1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings.
2. On the Personal tab, tap Phone.
3. Tap the Network tab.
4. In the Network selection field, select
Automatic or Manual as required.
5. If you select Automatic, your Toshiba phone
will register to the default network. This network
is defined by your SIM card.
6. If you select Manual, you will need to wait for the
phone to search for all available networks.
When the list of networks is displayed, tap the
required network, then tap OK. Your Toshiba
phone will register to the selected network.
7. Tap ok.
The default setting is Automatic.
If you select Manual, and your current network
becomes unavailable, you will need to wait for the
phone to search for all available networks. You can
then select one to connect to.
Preferred networks
If you have selected the Automatic network
selection type, following any failure in connection to
your home network, your Toshiba phone will attempt
to connect to the first network in the list of Preferred
networks. If this fails, the phone will attempt to
connect to the next network in the list, and so on.
To set up or update the list of Preferred networks:
1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings.
