SIM card
The SIM card contains your phone number, service details, and phonebook/message
memory. Your phone supports both 1.8 V and 3 V SIM cards.
Some legacy SIM cards may not function with your phone. You should consult with your
mobile operator for a replacement SIM card. There may be fees for this service.
Inserting the SIM card
The SIM card slot is located below the battery compartment.
1. Remove the bottom cover.

2. Open the battery compartment door.

3. If the battery is installed, you can remove the battery first to make it easier to insert the
SIM card. See “Removing the battery”.
4. Insert the SIM card with its gold contacts facing down and its cut-off corner facing out.
5. Push the SIM card all the way in until it clicks into place.
Removing the SIM card
1. Remove the bottom cover.

2. Open the battery compartment door.

3. If the battery is installed, remove the battery first to make it easier to remove the SIM
card. See “Removing the battery”.
4. Push the SIM card in to eject it from its slot.
