START VOICE COMMANDS
1. Press and hold .
•or from Settings application, open Voice.
2. You will hear the prompt to “Say a command”.
3. Say one of the choices listed on the phone that you wish to
use: Voice Dial, Name Lookup or Open (application).
VOICE DIAL
Dial by Name
To dial by saying the name of the person you wish to call:
1. Press and hold .
2. After the prompt to “Say a command”, say “Voice Dial”.
3. After the prompt to “Say the name or number”, say the full
name of a person in your Contact list, including first name and
last name.
4. The name is repeated, and the phone will begin dialling.
• If the name has more than one number in the Contact
entry, say the title of the desired number.
Dial by Number
To dial by saying the phone number:
1. After the prompt to “Say the name or number”, say the digits
of the phone number you wish to dial, without pausing
between digits.
2. If the phone recognises the number, it is repeated and the
phone will begin dialling.
If the phone is not sure of the number, it displays a list of choices
and prompts “Did you say...?” and states the first choice.
• If the number is correct, say “Yes”. If the number is not correct,
say “No” to hear the next possible match, or scroll and select
the correct number on the list.
NAME LOOKUP
Look up the Contact information for a person in your Contact list,
without automatically dialling the phone number.
