Set the trackpad sensitivity
You can set how the trackpad responds to your touch. A high sensitivity level requires less pressure than a lower sensitivity
level; 20 is the least sensitive, while 100 is the most sensitive. When learning to use the smartphone, some users find a
sensitivity level of 20 the easiest to use.
1. On the home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.
2. Click Typing and Language > Trackpad Sensitivity.
3. Change the Horizontal Sensitivity field and Vertical Sensitivity field.

Press the key > Save.
Set the touch screen sensitivity
You can set how sensitive the screen is to your touch.
1. On the home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.
2. Click Typing and Language > Touchscreen Sensitivity.
If you want the screen to respond faster when you tap it, change the Double Tap Interval field to a lower number.
If you want the screen to respond faster when you touch and hold it, for example, when you touch and hold the
screen to open a pop-up menu, change the Hover Period field to a faster speed.

Press the key > Save.
Set the cursor speed
1. On the home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.
2. Click Typing and Language > Keyboard.
3. Change the Key Rate field.

Press the key > Save.
Custom dictionary
Add, change, or delete a word in the custom dictionary
You can add words to the custom dictionary so that your BlackBerry smartphone recognizes the word when you check
spelling.
1. On the home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.
