System Action: Processing terminates abnormally.
User Response: Call BMC Software Product Support and have the job log data set
available when you call.
BMC48071A BCF function ACTIVE, CONTINUE WITH CANCEL? (Y/N)
Explanation: During BATCH CONTROL FACILITY (BCF) Cancel Intercept
processing, BCF found that the indicated function was executing. You might not
want to cancel the job step during execution of the function. The following function
values are possible:
LOG RECOVERY
BATCH BACKOUT
System Action: The action taken depends on your response to the message. A
response of Y causes an abend U1556. A response of N causes the job step to
continue processing and ignore the
CANCEL command.
User Response: Respond to the message with Y or N.
BMC48072E BCF INVALID REPLY TO MESSAGE BMC48071A
Explanation: During BATCH CONTROL FACILITY (BCF) Cancel Intercept
processing, BCF issued message BMC48071A to obtain permission to abend the job
step, and the reply was invalid. Only Y or N are valid responses.
System Action: Message BMC48071A is reissued to obtain a valid response.
User Response: Respond to the message with Y or N.
BMC48073I BCF NO DB UPDATES SINCE LAST APPLICATION CHECKPOINT
Explanation: During BATCH CONTROL FACILITY (BCF) restart processing
or abnormal termination processing, BCF found that no database changes occurred
since the last application checkpoint call. Backout is not needed since all changes
were committed to the database during checkpoint processing. BCF will not perform
batch backout for the application. IMS has deleted the DBRC subsystem record for
the job during abnormal termination processing.
System Action: Processing continues.
