• If this option is set to Y, the job step terminates abnormally with abend U1551.
• If this option is set to N, the job step continues without AR/CTL.
User Response: This message is informational only.
• If it was issued because AR/CTL has been deactivated through an option, make
sure that the APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL Active option is set to Y at
the highest applicable level.
• If the CPU ID is invalid, verify that AR/CTL is authorized to execute on this
processor.
• If you are using a trial copy, verify that the expiration date has not passed.
The job log may contain additional messages to explain the action that AR/CTL
took.

User Response: If appropriate, increase the allowable execution time. If the
application is an IMS batch message processing program (BMP), use the
CPUTIME
subparameter of the execution parameter.
