Explanation: The application program abended before APPLICATION
RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) processed a restart request. The program is not
restartable if restart request processing is not complete before the abend occurs.
Therefore, reattach cannot be performed. The value of the reattach option is changed
from YES to NO.
System Action: Abnormal termination of the task continues; AR/CTL does not
perform application reattach.
User Response: Resolve the problem, and restart the application program from the
beginning.
BMC150056E BOTH THE DDN AND COUNT FOR THE AUTOMATIC SYNCPOINT
TRIGGER FILE MUST BE SPECIFIED
Explanation: To enable APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL)
automatic syncpoint processing, you must specify the automatic syncpoint trigger
file ddname and the count of I/O requests.
System Action: If the Application Enhancement Solutions Force AR/CTL
Execution option is set to Y, the job step terminates abnormally with abend U1553. If
this option is set to N, the job step continues in batch mode.
User Response: Ensure that the ddname and the count are specified for the
automatic syncpoint trigger file.
