Section 10: Applications and Development
This section outlines the various applications that are available on your phone.
Widgets
The Widget tray provides quick access to the items you use most frequently (Alarm Clock, Amazon MP3, Audio
Postcard, Bluetooth, Browser, Calculator, Calendar, Call log, Camcorder, Camera, Contacts, Cube, Dialer,
DigitalClock, Diner Dash 2, Email, Files, Gmail, Google Maps, Google Talk, HotSpot Connect, IM, ImagingTool,
Market, Memo, Messaging, Music Player, My Account, Photo Gallery, Settings, Smart Converter, Stopwatch, Task,
TeleNav GPS Navigator, Timer, Tips, Video Player, Voice Dialer, Voice Recorder, Voice Search, Voicemail, Wi-Fi, World
Clock, and YouTube.)
Widgets are identified as either Samsung (specific) widgets, or other widgets. Samsung widgets are those that are
associated with specific functions of this device such as: DigitalClock, Imaging Tool, and Tips. The rest of the
widgets are configurable.
The following table contains a description of each Widget, its function, and how to navigate through that particular
application. If the application is already described in another section of this user manual, then a cross reference to
that particular section is provided.
Alarm Clock
This feature allows you to:
Set up multiple alarms to ring at specified times.
To set the alarm:
1. From the Home screen, open the Widget tray and tap the
Alarm clock
widget.
2. Touch one of the predefined alarms, or press
MENU
Add alarm
to add a new alarm.
3. Touch the Turn on alarm check box to activate the alarm.
A check mark displays in this field.
4. Enter the required information in each of the displayed fields. For more information,
