Messaging
This application allows you to use the Short Message Service (SMS) to send and receive short text
messages to and from other mobile phones.
For more information, refer to “Text Messages” on page 66.
You can also use the Multi Media Service (MMS) to create multimedia messages to send and receive
from other mobile phones.
For more information, refer to “Picture Messages” on page 69.
The Messaging folder stores received messages, drafts, push messages, and all other types of
messages. An identifier in the form of red text displays next to the recipient name (for example, the
word Draft).
When you enter the folder, the list of messages displays with the sender’s phone numbers, or
names, if available in your Contacts list as well as the time the message was received.
If the folder is full when a new message is received or sent, or the SIM card is full, the message saves
to the phone.
You can also sort messages or delete message threads.
