Managing SIM card messages
When you access this menu all of the SMS messages stored on the SIM card display on the screen. From here you
can copy the messages to the phone, or delete the messages.
1. From the Home screen, touch Quick List ➔

All the SMS messages stored on the SIM card display.
4. Touch and hold one of the SMS messages, then select one of the following options:
• Copy to phone memory
: copies the selected SMS message to the phone’s memory.
• Delete
: deletes the selected SMS message.
Notification settings
This option allows you to determine if you want to receive notification in the status bar when you receive a Gmail
text or picture message.
1. From the Home screen, open the Widget tray and tap the Gmail widget.
2. Press ➔
Settings
.
3. Touch the check box next to one of the following options to activate that option:
• Email notifications
: selecting this option displays message notification in the status bar and activates the Select ringtone and
Vibrate options.
• Select ringtone
: selects a Default ringtone, Silent, or other ringtones to use as notification of received messages.
•Vibrate
: the phone vibrates as notification of received messages.
