4. Select an existing prole on which to base the new prole.
5. Tap OK.
The new prole does NOT automatically become the active prole; to activate the new prole,
select it from the Current Prole eld in the General tab.
To Rename or Delete a prole:
1.
In the General tab to access a screen in which you can Add, Rename or Delete a prole.
2. Tap a prole from the prole name list and then tap Rename or Delete button to rename or delete
the selected prole.
To Save conguration settings in a prole:
When you make changes to the T-Mobile MDA III's conguration, those changes are automati-
cally saved when you select a different prole, turn Bluetooth off, or shut down your T-Mobile
MDA III.

In the General tab, tap to access a screen in which you can Add, Rename and Delete a prole.
2. Select the desired prole from the Current Prole eld on the General tab.
3. Setup your T-Mobile MDA III including the necessary settings in the Accessibility and Services
tab described later so that it behaves in the desired manner.
4. Tap OK and then close the Bluetooth Settings screen; the changes are saved automatically.
To avoid saving unwanted changes to a regularly used prole, create a new prole that is based
on the prole currently in use, select the new prole, and then make the changes while the new
prole is active.
Setting Accessibility Properties
You can enter or change the accessibility properties to dene how your T-Mobile MDA III interacts
with other Bluetooth devices by tapping the Bluetooth icon on the lower-right corner of the
Today screen > Bluetooth Settings > Accessibility tab.
1. Enter the Bluetooth name of your T-Mobile MDA III, as displayed to remote devices when the
associated prole is active if the Use PocketPC device name for Bluetooth checkbox is un-
checked.
2. If the Use PocketPC device name for Bluetooth box is checked, the name assigned to your T-Mobile
MDA III (by tapping > Settings > the System tab > About > Device ID tab > Device Name) will
always be displayed to the remote user as the Bluetooth name of your T-Mobile MDA III.

Allow other devices to connect - when this option is enabled, other devices are permitted to connect
to this device. Two mutually exclusive sub-options provide additional renement. They are:
n All devices - select this option to allow all devices to connect.
