BMC44288I IMAGE COPY NEEDED, ACTION = action
Explanation: The Discard Logging Active option has been specified as YES,
and the application has terminated normally. The database referenced in the job
should be image copied. If DBRC is active and the database is registered with
DBRC, the database has been marked as Image Copy Needed and a reorganization
record has been added to the RECON data set for the database. If DBRC is not being
used or the database is not registered, protection of the database is your
responsibility. The database has been updated without an IMS log data set being
created and can be recovered only if the necessary steps are taken to ensure
recoverability.
Additional information concerning the processing actions taken by the Physical
Logger is indicated in the action portion of the message. The following values for
action are possible:
1 DBRC is not active for the execution.
2 DBRC is active for the execution, but the database is not registered.
3 DBRC is active for the execution, and the database is registered. The
database has been marked as Image Copy Needed, and a reorganization
entry has been made in the RECON data set.
System Action: Processing continues.
User Response: This message is for your information only. No action is necessary.
It may be used by automated operations to submit the image copy job.
BMC44289I IMS DYNAMIC BACKOUT DETECTED FOR CUSTOMER PROGRAM
Explanation: The execution controller has determined that IMS completed
dynamic backout for the application. This can be verified by the presence of IMS
message DFS022I in the job log.
System Action: The execution controller has determined that the application
terminated abnormally and required database backout. Backout had already been
performed by IMS dynamic backout, so BATCH CONTROL FACILITY (BCF) did
not invoke the IMS Batch Backout utility, unless updates were made after the IMS
dynamic backout was performed.
User Response: This message is for your information only. No action is necessary.
