BMC48005I INCOMPLETE LOG. NO ENDING 06 LOG RECORD
Explanation: The IMS log data set being processed did not end with a valid 06
log record. This might not be an error condition as long as the utility is able to find
the end-of-execution log records. If message BMC48011I is also present, verify the
log for completeness.
System Action: The
OCREATE request ends with return code 7.
User Response: The routines that attempt to find and report databases updated after
the program specification block (PSB) execution may not be able to report potential
database integrity exposures if all logs are not provided. Provide additional log data
sets as required and resubmit the job.
Note: For a very active online system, it may not be practical to provide a
complete set of log volumes system log data sets (SLDS). Include as many
log volumes created after the extracted PSB execution as necessary to
understand whether the integrity of the pertinent databases has been affected
by the subsequent batch backout process.
BMC48006I NO UPDATE RECORDS FOUND THIS UOW
Explanation: The Online Backout Log Create (
OCREATE) function did not find
any IMS log records representing updates to databases for the requested program
specification block (PSB) execution.
System Action: The
OCREATE request ends with return code 7.
User Response: Verify that the PSB name and unit of work (UOW) requested in the
OCREATE request is for the correct PSB execution, then resubmit the job. You can
use the BATCH CONTROL FACILITY (BCF) Log utility
FIND function to produce
a report of all the executions for the desired PSB and determine if the execution
issued any IMS DL/I update calls.
BMC48007I NO EXECUTION FOR REQUESTED PSB NAME
Explanation: The Online Backout Log Create (
OCREATE) request did not find
an IMS log record representing the start of an execution for the program
specification block (PSB) name in the
OCREATE control statement.
System Action: The
OCREATE request ends with return code 7.
User Response: Verify that the PSB name and unit of work (UOW) specified in the
OCREATE request is for the correct execution, then resubmit the job. You can use the
BATCH CONTROL FACILITY (BCF) Log utility
FIND function to produce a report
of all the executions for the desired PSB. Verify that the input log data sets are
correct.
