System Action: AR/CTL abnormally terminates the task with abend U1771 and
reason code X’00074305’.
User Response: Ensure that the parameter specified for the
DDN keyword in the file
characteristics block (FCB) is the same as the ddname specified in the application
program and the ddname specified in the JCL.
BMC74306E USER AREA BEGINNING AND ENDING ADDRESS PAIRS FOR call
CALL ARE NOT PAIRED.
Explanation: APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) detected that
the beginning and ending addresses of the user areas are not paired. They must be
paired to define an application program user area for a checkpoint or restart request
in simplified mode.
System Action: AR/CTL abnormally terminates the task with abend U1771 and
reason code X’00074306’.
User Response: Review the application program. Modify the application program
checkpoint and restart calls to define the user areas using pairs of beginning and
ending addresses.
BMC74307W CHECKPOINT PACING IS NOT SUPPORTED FOR
TRANSACTION-ORIENTED BATCH MESSAGE PROCESSING REGIONS.
Explanation: APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) detected a
request for checkpoint pacing to be active. However, AR/CTL does not support
checkpoint pacing in a transaction-oriented batch message processing (BMP) region.
