However, control flags indicated that read backward requests had been
serviced on prior requests.
System Action: The job step terminates with a U747 abend because the results of
batch backout would be unpredictable.

searched.
System Action: The job step terminates with a U747 abend.
User Response: Make certain the library containing the necessary module is
available in the JCL.
BMC48047E BACKOUT ASSIST SETUP ERROR, RC=rc
Explanation: An unrecoverable error occurred while setting up the BATCH
CONTROL FACILITY (BCF) Batch Backout Assist environment.
System Action: The BCF Backout Assist feature is disabled and processing
continues using the normal IMS Batch Backout module DFSBBO00.

Explanation: The BATCH CONTROL FACILITY (BCF) Batch Backout Assist
feature processing is bypassed. The return code (rc) is issued under the following
conditions:
1 user-supplied JCL DD statement BCFBAIGN DD DUMMY, which causes
the BCF Batch Backout Assist feature to pass control to the native IMS
Batch Backout
2 security check error
3 IMS Version 3.1 and not a batch log
4 IMS Version 2.2 and first log record is not type 42
5 IMS Version 2.2 and not a batch log
6 IMS version not supported
