successfully. If restart processing is allowed to continue without backout
executing successfully, data integrity could be jeopardized. Backout must be
executed successfully before restart continues.
System Action: AR/CTL terminates the job step abnormally with abend U1578.
User Response: Review the sections of the APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL
User Guide that discuss problem solving, perform the appropriate procedure, and
update the REGISET. Review the other messages in the job log data set for the job
step execution that failed. The problem determination and recovery actions taken
