BMC93114E XFCSREQC EXIT PGM, ARVRFCXT, (v.r) INVOKED FROM WRONG EXIT
POINT
Explanation: The file status exit, XFCSREQC (program ARVRFCXT), of
APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) for VSAM was invoked from the
wrong exit point. The version (v.r) indicates the CICS release for which this exit
program was intended to work.
System Action: The file table status is not updated. AR/CTL for VSAM may have
incorrect file status information for remote file sharing.
User Response: Make sure that the CICS global user exits are enabled properly.
Determine whether this CICS release is new or new maintenance has been applied to
CICS. If the release or maintenance is new, or if the error cannot be resolved, contact
BMC Software Product Support with the AUX trace information.
BMC93115E PGMIDERR CONDITION RAISED FOR MODULE ARVRFCXT
Explanation: Module ARVRCIS3 of APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL
(AR/CTL) for VSAM attempted to enable or disable the XFCSREQC exit, and the
attempt raised a PGMIDERR condition.
System Action: AR/CTL for VSAM finishes building the file table, but AR/CTL
for VSAM may have incorrect file status information for remote file sharing.
User Response: Make sure that program ARVRFCXT is defined in the PPT and is
enabled. Make sure that the program has been linked with RMODE=24 and
AMODE=31.
BMC93116E GLOBAL EXIT(exitname) PROGRAM, ARVRFCXT, COULD NOT LOCATE
GLOBAL WORK AREA
Explanation: This message is issued from the ARVRFCXT service module of
APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) for VSAM. The file status exit
(XFCSREQC) or the system termination exit (XSTERM) did not pass a global work
area to module ARVRFCXT.
System Action: The file table status is not updated. AR/CTL for VSAM may have
incorrect file status information for remote file sharing. If XSTERM is the exit, some
resources may not be cleaned up.
User Response: Make sure that the CICS global user exits are enabled properly.
Rerun transaction ARCB. Check the CICS job log for exit-related error messages.
Determine whether this CICS release is new or new maintenance has been applied to
CICS. If the version or maintenance is new, or if the error cannot be resolved, contact
BMC Software Product Support with the AUX trace information.
