BMC74063W RESTART DATA SET CONTAINS INVALID CHECKPOINT AREA (xx)
Explanation: APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) detected that
the restart data set header contains an invalid checkpoint area (xx). AR/CTL will not
participate further in the restart process.
System Action: If the execution mode is IMS-compatible or simplified, AR/CTL
abnormally terminates the step with abend U1771 and reason code X00074063.
Otherwise, IMS will perform restart processing.
User Response: If the execution mode is IMS, provide a valid restart system log
data set (SLDS) through the ddname IMSLOGR. If the execution mode is
IMS-compatible or simplified, perform the procedure for handling a damaged or
destroyed restart data set as described in the APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL
User Guide.
BMC74064W RESTART DATA SET CHECKPOINT AREA (xx) HAS AN INVALID
OFFSET (offset)
Explanation: APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) detected that
the restart data set header does not contain a correct offset for the checkpoint area
(xx). AR/CTL will not participate further in the restart process.
System Action: If the execution mode is IMS-compatible or simplified, AR/CTL
abnormally terminates the step with abend U1771 and reason code X74064.
Otherwise, IMS will perform restart processing
User Response: If the execution mode is IMS, provide a valid restart system log
data set (SLDS) through the ddname IMSLOGR. If the execution mode is
IMS-compatible or simplified, perform the procedure for handling a damaged or
destroyed restart data set as described in the APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL
User Guide.
BMC74065W RESTART DATA SET CHECKPOINT AREA (xx) HAS AN INVALID
LENGTH (length)
Explanation: APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) detected that
the restart data set header does not contain a valid length for the checkpoint area (xx).
The message displays the current value of the checkpoint area pointer. AR/CTL will
not participate further in the restart process.
System Action: If the execution mode is IMS-compatible or simplified, AR/CTL
abnormally terminates the step with abend U1771 and reason code X74065.
User Guide.
