BMC93075E CANNOT DETERMINE CICS FILE ID. SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE
Explanation: APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) could not
determine the CICS APPLID and file ID. This service requires MVS support at the
MVS/ESA level or higher.
System Action: The CICS program or transaction terminates.
User Response: Verify the execution environment. The problem was probably
caused by a failure to install enhanced processing common services. If no errors are
found in the execution environment, call BMC Software Product Support for
assistance.
BMC93076E CANNOT DETERMINE CICS FILE ID. FILE TABLE FOR CICS=table IS
BEING UPDATED OR DELETED
Explanation: APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) could not
determine the CICS file ID, because the remote VSAM access file table was being
updated or deleted.
System Action: The CICS program or transaction terminates.
User Response: Verify the execution environment. If no errors are found in the
execution environment, call BMC Software Product Support for assistance.
BMC93077E UNABLE TO LOCATE DATASET IN ANY CICS FILE TABLE,
DSN=dsname
Explanation: An access level other than 2 was requested for the indicated data
set (dsname) in the file characteristics block (FCB) or with the VSAM File Sharing
Only option, but APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) could not locate
the data set in any of the CICS file tables. AR/CTL can issue this message for
various error conditions. Sometimes this message follows other error messages,
which identify the source of the problem.
System Action: The job terminates with user abend U1775.
User Response: To resolve the problem, perform the following tasks:
Verify that the file has been defined to CICS with the file control table (FCT).
If no data set name is specified in the FCT, verify that a DD statement for the
file is supplied in the CICS startup JCL.
Verify that you have run transaction ARCB or executed program ARVRCIS3
through PLTPI successfully. You should see message BMC93069I in the CICS
JESLOG.
Verify that the file is in an ENABLED state.
If the file was installed with RDO after CICS was initialized, verify that you
have run transaction ARCB again after the RDO installation.
