SMS
Allows you to set the validity period. Options are: Maximum, 1 Hour, 6 Hours, 12
Hours, 1 day or 1 week.
1. From the Today screen, tap Start located in the upper left corner of
the screen.
2. Tap Settings and from the Personal tab, tap Phone .
3. Tap Options.
4. Highlight SMS and tap: Change Setting.
5. Tap any of the following settings: Maximum, 1 Hour, 6 Hours, 12 Hours, 1
day or 1 week.
6. Tap to save your selection.
Change Barring Password
Allows you to change the Barring Password.
1. From the Today screen, tap Start located in the upper left corner of
the screen.
2. Tap Settings and from the Personal tab, tap Phone .
3. Tap Options.
4. Highlight Change Barring Password and tap: Change Setting.
5. Tap the Old Password, New Password and Confirm Password fields to
enter the appropriate information.
6. Tap to save your new barring password.
Band Selection
Allows you to change the band preference to: Automatic, 900 1800 MHz or 850
1900 MHz.
1. From the Today screen, tap Start located in the upper left corner of
the screen.
2. Tap Settings and from the Personal tab, tap Phone .
3. Tap Options.
4. Highlight Band Selection and tap: Change Setting.
5. Tap any of the following settings: Automatic, 900 1800 MHz or 850 1900
MHz.
6. Tap to save your selection.
