About Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a short-range communications technology
that allows you to connect wirelessly to a number of
Bluetooth devices, such as headsets and hands-free
car kits, Bluetooth-enabled handhelds, computers,
printers, and wireless phones. The Bluetooth
communication range is usually up to approximately
30 feet.
Turning Bluetooth On and Off
By default, your device’s Bluetooth feature is set to Off.
Turning Bluetooth on makes your device
“discoverable” by other in-range Bluetooth devices.
To turn Bluetooth on:
1. Press > > Settings > Wireless & networks.
2. Tap Bluetooth to place a checkmark and activate
the feature. When active, appears within the
Status Bar.
To turn Bluetooth off:
1. Press > > Settings > Wireless & networks.
2. Tap Bluetooth uncheck and deactivate Bluetooth.

Note: Activating Bluetooth can drain your battery faster and
reduce your available usage times. To conserve your
device's battery, turn off Bluetooth when not in use.
Always turn off your Bluetooth when you are in
locations that prohibit its use.
