Making and Answering Calls
Answering Calls
When you receive a phone call, the Incoming Call
screen opens with the caller ID and any other available
information (such as the caller's name, if saved in the
Contact's list). The most recent incoming calls are
recorded in the Call log. (See “2D. Call Log” on
page 68.)
To answer a call:
ᮣ Touch and drag to the right.
If you were already on a call, the first call is placed on
hold while you answer the new call. To silence the
ringer of an incoming call, press the down volume
buttons.
Your phone notifies you of incoming calls in the
following ways:
ⅷ The phone rings or vibrates.
ⅷ The backlight illuminates.
ⅷ The screen displays an incoming call message.
To decline a call and divert it to voicemail:
ᮣ Touch and drag to the left.
The caller is sent directly to your voicemail box to leave
a message.
Answering a Roam Call With Call Guard Enabled
Call Guard is an option that helps you manage your
roaming charges when making or receiving calls while
outside the Nationwide Sprint Network. Please see
“Roaming” on page 129 for more information about
roaming.
ᮣ Tap OK to answer the call. (See “Call Guard” on
page 130 for additional information.)
Note: When your phone is off, calls go directly to voicemail
