Using a phone headset
You can connect a phone headset for hands-free operation. If you need
to use your smartphone while driving and this is permitted in your area,
we recommend using a phone headset or a hands-free car kit (sold
separately).
The headset button is context sensitive and it performs different actions
based on the situation. You can press the headset button to perform any
of the following tasks:
• Answer an incoming call
• Respond to call waiting
• Hang up all calls
• Swap between calls if the second call is an incoming call
• Create a conference call, if the second call is an outgoing call
Tip
You can use the
headset that came
with your
smartphone or
compatible third-
party headsets.
Tip
The headset designed
for Treo 180/270/300
smartphones is not
compatible with the
Palm Treo 700w
smartphone.
