Section 11: Camera
This section explains how to use the built-in camera and camcorder on your phone to take photographs and record
videos.
Using the Camera
Using the camera module in your phone, you can take photos of people or events while on the move. Additionally,
you can set the picture as a Wallpaper, or as a Picture ID image.
Note:
Do not take photos of people without their permission.
Do not take photos in places where cameras are not allowed.
Do not take photos in places where you may interfere with another person’s privacy.
Take and Send Photos
Your 2.0 megapixel camera produces photos in JPEG format.
Note:
When you take a photo in direct sunlight or in bright conditions, shadows may display on the photo.
1. From the Home screen, press then touch
Camera
.

Press the
Camera
key to activate the camera.
2. Adjust the image by aiming the camera at the subject.
3. Prior to taking a picture, touch the
Setup
icon to set the
Effects
,
Image quality
,
Exposure meter
, etc. for this
picture. For details, see “Configuring Camera Options” on page 95.
4. Press the
Camera
key to take the photo.
5. Configure the picture options. For more information, refer to “Configuring Picture Options” on page 94.
6. Press to return to the Home screen.
Configuring Picture Options
After you take a picture, touch one of the following icons. This list of options differ from the Camera’s main menu
which allows you to configure options for the camera and not for the picture.
