Setting a Data Usage Warning Limit
You can set the terminal to display a warning message when a specific data usage level is reached.
Drag the orange line on the graph to the data level that you want as the trigger for a warning message.
Setting a Data Usage Limit
You can set the terminal to automatically turn Mobile data OFF and notify you when a specific data
usage limit has been reached. When you select a data usage limit, take into consideration the following:
Data usage statistics displayed on the screen are measured by the phone. Your carrier’s data
usage accounting may differ.
When Mobile data is turned OFF, some features and applications on the terminal may not
function properly.
1. Check the Set Mobile data limit box.
2. Read the information displayed on the screen. Select OK if you want to proceed.
3. Drag the red line on the graph to the data limit you want to set.
Advance Menu Options
Data Roaming
Press the Menu button and check the Data roaming box to allow data transmission on networks
outside your carrier’s mobile network. If this option is enabled, additional charges may apply depending
on the coverage of your mobile data network plan.
Restrict background data
This setting is a severe method of controlling data usage and should only be used with caution.
Restricting background data may cause some apps to malfunction or stop working. If you want to reduce
data usage, first try checking the data use settings provided within a app.
Press the Menu button and check the Restrict background data box to restrict all apps across all
networks from transferring data in the background when not in use.
