To change the priority of a saved network
You can change the priority of a network in the Saved Networks screen. When Wi-Fi
is on, the device attempts to connect to the networks in the list in the order of their
priority.
1. Tap
Menu > Change Priority.
2. Select where to move the network from the
menu.
Note HotSpot and @Home are T-Mobile profiles
provided for connection with T-Mobile
HotSpots and T-Mobile @Home wireless routers,
respectively. You can change the priority of these
profiles; however, they cannot be deleted.
To increase security on the Wi-Fi network
The LEAP (Lightweight Extensible Authentication Protocol) feature of Comm
Manager helps increase security on your phone, and ensures that nobody can
access your network without your permission.
1. On the Wi-Fi Manager screen, select
Saved Networks.
2. Select
Menu > LEAP.
3. Select
Menu > New.
Note By default, the LEAP screen displays data that you entered previously. However,
you can modify or delete the data as required by selecting Menu > Modify or
Menu > Delete on the LEAP screen.
4. Enter the SSID (Service Set Identier). You can obtain this information from
T-Mobile.
5. Enter the domain, user name, and password.
