Set date, time, and other regional options
Your phone should already be set up with the regional settings that are appropriate
for your locale.
To change regional settings
You can specify the locale, date and time style, as well as number and currency
formatting options.
1. On the Home screen, select
Start > Settings > Regional Settings.
2. In
Locale, select the locale for dierent regions. The Locale option
automatically changes the format of the remaining options (such as date,
time, and currency) according to the locale you specify.
3. Select
Done.
To set the date and time
1. On the Home screen, select Start > Settings > Clock & Alarm > Date and
Time.
2. Set the
Time zone, Date, and Time, and then select Done.
Choose how to be notified about events or actions
A profile is a group of settings that determine how your phone will alert you to
phone events such as incoming calls and notifications.
To change the current prole
Profiles are preset phone sound settings to suit different environments or scenarios.
For example, you may want to set the phone to Vibrate or Silent profile when you
are in a meeting.
1. On the Home screen, scroll down to
on the Shortcut Bar and then select
Change Prole.
2. Choose a new prole, and select
Done.
Tip To quickly change the profile, press and hold the HOME key to display the Quick List
and choose a profile.
