1.6 Using the Headset / Charging Cable
Your device comes with an headset / charging cable that enables you to use a
stereo headset to listen to music while the device is connected to an AC adapter
or the USB sync cable. You can use the USB stereo headset that comes with your
device, or connect a headset with either a 2.5 mm or 3.5 mm jack.
To connect the headset / charging cable
1. Connect the USB connector of the headset / charging cable to the sync
connector on your device.
2. Connect the USB connector of the AC adapter / USB sync cable to the headset
/ charging cable.
3. Plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet or the USB sync cable to your
computer.
4. Connect a stereo headset to the headset / charging cable to listen to music.
