Profile: Adjusts the synchronization profile. Default
is Direct push (any changes on the remote
exchange server are “pushed” to your device).
Tap Enable in roaming mode to allow the
current profile to remain active even while
roaming.
E-mail: Access the Email settings menu where
you can configure the send, receive, and
miscellaneous configuration settings (page 150).
Calendar: Configure the synchronization
parameters of your Work Email calendar.
Hide declined events: When enabled, declined
events are not shown within your synced
calendar events.
Appointment sync range: Tap to assign the
sync range for your calendar events. Any
events in this range are added to your device’s
calendar. Options include:
All, 2 weeks ago,
1 month ago, 3 months ago, or 6 months ago.
Set alerts & notifications: Assign the alert
method used for new or upcoming calendar
events. options include:
Alert, Status bar
notification, or Off.
Select ringtone: Assigns an audible ringtone
when a new or upcoming event is pending.
Vibrate: Assigns a vibration when a new or
upcoming event is pending.
Set default reminder: Alerts you of an
upcoming event at a defined time before the
event occurs. Options include intervals from
15 minutes to 1 week before the event.
Contacts: Determines how your Outlook contacts
are displayed in the Contacts listing. Options
include:
Last, First, Last First, LastFirst, First Last,
Company, etc.
Tasks: Sets how your Outlooks tasks are filtered
and sorted.
Filter Type: All, Complete, or In progress.
Sort by: Subject or Date.
3. Press to store your changes and return to
the Home screen.
To configure Email settings:
1. Press and tap > (Work Email).
