Deleting Message Threads
You can delete a single thread or multiple threads.
Deleting a Thread
1. From a Home screen, touch
Messaging
.
2. Touch and hold a message thread, then touch
Delete
thread
.
3. At the
Delete
prompt, touch
OK
to delete or
Cancel
to
cancel.
Deleting Multiple Threads
1. From a Home screen, touch
Messaging
.
2. Press the
Menu Key
➔
Delete threads
.
3. Touch
Select all
or touch each message you want to delete.
A check mark appears beside each message you select.
4. Touch
Delete
.
5. At the
Delete all?
prompt, touch
Include locked messages
to
create a check mark, if you also want to delete locked
messages. Touch
OK
to delete or
Cancel
to cancel.
Message Search
You can search through your messages by using the Message
Search feature.
1. From a Home screen, touch
Messaging
.
2. Press the
Menu Key
➔
Search
.
– or –
Press the
Search Key
.
3. Use the on-screen keypad to enter a search word or
phrase, then touch .
4. All messages that contain the search string you entered
are displayed.
Messaging Settings
To configure the settings for text messages, multimedia
messages, Voice mails, and Push messages.
1. From a Home screen, touch
Messaging
.
2. Press the
Menu Key

Settings
.
The Messaging settings are:
• Delete old messages
: Delete old messages when the limit is
reached, rather than having them overwritten.
