Calendar Options

From any Calendar view, press the
Menu Key
to
display the following options:
•Day
: Displays the selected day only with any events highlighted.
• Week
: Displays the selected week with today’s time and date
highlighted.
•Month
: Displays the selected month with today’s date highlighted.
• Agenda
: Displays the Event List, which is all events that you have
added for all dates in the order that they appear.
•Today
: Takes you to today’s date, if you are not already there.
•More
: Displays the following options:

Create
: Create a new event for any day or time period.
–
Go to
: Go to any date on your calendar. Touch
+
or
-
to set the month,
day, and year, then touch
Set
.
–
Calendars
: Displays all calendars they you have created.

Settings
: Displays the calendar settings. For more information, refer to
“Calendar Settings”
on page 159.
Calendar Settings
To configure the settings for the messages, multimedia
messages, Voice mails, and Push messages.
1. From a Home screen, touch

Menu Key

.
The Calendar settings are:
Calendar view setting
• Hide declined events
: Do not display events you have received
from others, if you have declined them.
• First day of week
: Set the first day of the week to Sunday or
Monday. This affects how the Month view calendar is displayed.
Reminder settings
• Set alarms and notifications
: Set an alarm or Status Bar
notification to remind you of an event.
• Select ringtone
: Set the ringtone for the Event notification tone.
•Vibrate
: Set the Event notification tone to vibrate Always, Only in
Silent mode, or Never.
• Default reminder time
: Set the default time for reminders. Choices
are: None; 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, or 45 minutes; 1, 2, 3, 12, or
24 hours; 2 days; or 1 week.
