Address Book Options
You can access Address Book options while at the main Address
Book page or while in the details page for a specific entry.
Options in Address Book
1. From the main Home screen, touch
Contacts
.
2. Press the
Menu Key
.
The following options display:
Delete:
Delete one or more contacts.
My profile
: Set up the same information for yourself that you add
for a new contact. For more information, refer to
“Adding a New
Contact”
on page 65.
•Import/Export
: Move contacts to or from your memory card. You
can also send a namecard by Bluetooth, Email, Gmail, or
Messaging.
•Get friends
: Get contacts from your friends on Facebook, Twitter, or
MySpace. You can also get contacts from Corporate or Google
accounts. Touch
Add account
and then follow the on-screen
instructions. For more information, refer to
“Synchronizing
Accounts”
on page 70.
Accounts
: Add and manage mobile accounts on Facebook, Twitter,
or MySpace. You can also add Corporate or Google accounts.
Touch
Add account
and then follow the on-screen instructions.
•More
: the following additional options are displayed:
Speed dial
: allows you to set up speed-dialing. For more information,
refer to
“Using Speed Dial”
on page 53.
Send email
: allows you to send an email using your Google account.
Send message
: allows you to send a text or picture message.
SIM Management
: allows you to copy contacts from your phone to
your SIM card or from your SIM card to your phone.
Display options
: You can choose to only display contacts that have
phone numbers, sort by first or last name, display contacts first name
first or last name first, display contacts stored to your SIM card, display
contacts stored on your phone, and/or display contacts stored to other
accounts. Touch a selection and touch Done.
Settings
: Displays additional Address Book settings. For more
information, refer to
“Address Book Settings”
on page 71.
Address Book Settings
From the main Home screen, touch
Contacts
then
press the
Menu Key

The following options display:
Save new contacts to
: By default, your contacts are automatically
saved to your phone. To change where your contacts are saved,
touch
Always ask

), such as Google.
Own numbers
: Displays your telephone number.
Service numbers
: Displays your service numbers.
AT&T Address Book
: Lets you sync your contacts with your AT&T
Address Book.
