Customizing Your Home Screen
You can customize your Home screen by doing the following:

Primary Shortcuts
There are four non-movable Application Shortcuts that appear at
the bottom of all Home screens. The default shortcuts are:
Bluetooth Active
: Bluetooth is turned on.
Wi-Fi Active
: Wi-Fi is connected, active, and
communicating with a Wireless Access Point (WAP).
Wi-Fi Action Needed
: Action needed to connect to
Wireless Access Point (WAP).
Acquiring GPS Signal
: Displays when GPS is acquiring a
signal.
GPS Active
: Displays when GPS is active.
Navigation Active
: The Navigation app is active. For
more information, refer to “Navigation” on page 171.
TTY Active
: Displays when a TTY device has been
inserted.

Phone
: Make a telephone number. For more
information, refer to “Call Functions” on page 52.
Messaging
: Create and send text messages. For more
information, refer to “Creating and Sending
Messages” on page 96.
Web
: Access the Internet. For more information, refer
to “Web” on page 139.
Applications
: Access applications on your phone. For
more information, refer to “Applications” on
