Messaging
With messaging, you can send and receive instant
messages between your device and another
messaging-ready device. When you receive a new
message, a new message icon will appear on the
status bar.
There are two types of messaging, Text Messaging
(SMS) and Multimedia Messaging (MMS).
Multimedia messages consist of both text and multimedia
files, such as pictures, videos, or voice recordings.
Accessing Messages
When you receive a message, you will see a
notification icon displayed on the status bar. Tap the
notification entry and tap the message to read.
To reply to a message:
1. While the message is open, tap the
Type to compose field and then type your reply
message.
2. Follow steps 5 and 6 in the next section
(“Composing Messages”).
Composing Messages
1. Press Home > > Messaging >
New message.
2. Enter the phone number or email information of
the recipient in the
To field using the onscreen
keyboard. As you type, a matching information in
your Contacts will appear as a list. Tap an entry to
select it.
3. Tap or when you have finished entering
recipients.
