3 In Other Properties, select the properties that you want to apply:
■ Enable Polling: activates the collection of counters
Clear the check box if you do not need reports on this domain and if you want to
dim this domain (make it appear gray). You can return the domain to normal
display simply by selecting this check box again.
■ Show Hidden Objects: (selected by default) displays all subordinate objects that
are polled in this domain
To hide a device or an interface, you must hide it at the individual device or
interface level. For more information, see “Managing Device Properties” on
page 144 and “Managing Interface Properties” on page 147.
4 Click Apply Changes.
Managing Device Properties
You can set or modify the properties of an individual device, as well as being able to
set properties globally. The information in this section applies to devices such as the
following types:
■ routers
■ switches
■ hubs
■ traffic shapers
■ load balancers
■ PATROL End-to-End (ETE) Response Timers
■ PATROL ETE Response Timer peers
■ classifier groups and classifiers
