Registering Your PATROL DashBoard
After you install PATROL DashBoard as a new installation (instead of an upgrade), it
is temporarily registered for a trial period of one month. This temporary registration
covers a limited number of devices, interfaces, and DLCIs. During that month, you
(the superuser) must submit information to BMC Software to permanently register
the product.
If you do not register the product during the trial period, your registration expires,
and you must register again.
Before You Begin
■ Ensure that the PATROL DashBoard server is running.
■ Ensure that you are logged on as the superuser.
To Register PATROL DashBoard
1 In the Control Panel, click Registration.
The Registration Center screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 12:

NOTE
If you are upgrading from a registered version 6.5 or 6.6, your registration is still
valid.
