About Bintec Router Support
The Interface Properties screen for a Bintec router contains the following device-
specific interface parameters collected from the MIB:
■ the Queuing Mechanism algorithm used to prioritize the logical flows crossing this
interface
■ the enabled or disabled Traffic Shaping option
■ the Maximum Transmit Rate (Kbps) for traffic shaping if the Traffic Shaping option
is enabled
About Cisco NetFlow Support
The use of NetFlow version 5 in PATROL DashBoard requires a hardware
configuration much more powerful than that used with NetFlow version 8 to carry
out aggregation of data and send it to the server.
About ART Peers Support
PATROL DashBoard supports NetScout and NetWork Associates, Inc. (NAI), probes
to create peers to measure the application response time (ART).
Icons Used in the Network Tree
Table 5 lists the icons that are displayed at the left of the item labels in the navigation
tree of PATROL DashBoard. The same icon in a different color is often used to
differentiate the type of object within its category; for example, several different
colors are used for peers. This listing does not show all of the color variations.
