3 On the Status propagation tab, select the Propagate at Threshold values (0–100%) check
box and keep the default values for this check box.
4 Click Apply.
To Display the PATROL DashBoard Status Automatically in HP OpenView Maps
1 In the HP OpenView interface, right-click the PATROL DashBoard server object.
2 From the menu, choose Symbol Properties.
3 From the Status Source drop-down list, select Object.
4 Click OK.
Using PATROL DashBoard in HP OpenView
Equating Event Severity Levels
Event severity levels have different names in PATROL DashBoard and HP
OpenView. The equivalent terms are shown in the following table:
If a major- or high-severity event occurs in PATROL DashBoard, the PATROL
DashBoard status is set to Major in the HP OpenView interface and the icon color
changes in the map and submaps affected by this event.
Naming Objects
An object managed by HP OpenView is identified by a selection name. The equivalent
in PATROL DashBoard is host name. For traps issued from PATROL DashBoard to be
managed in HP OpenView, the selection name and the host name must be identical.
You can name objects in either product.
