Creating a New Peer
The procedure for creating a peer differs slightly, depending on which type of peer
that you want to create. You select the type of peer that you want to create from the
Peer Type selection list, shown in Figure 33:

Before You Begin
You must have an SNMP read/write community name, which functions as a
password.
To Create a Peer
1 In the Network portion of the navigation tree, right-click a device.
The selected device is referred to as the source device to differentiate it from the
remote device to which the peer connects.
2 Choose New => Peer.
3 Provide the write community name and click Apply Changes.
4 In the Peer Type selection list, select the type of peer, and then click Next.
